Access: Advanced Tutorial
This self-paced tutorial covers the basics of Microsoft Access. Learn how databases are designed and create a sample Microsoft Access database without templates or wizards. This self-paced tutorial will also cover how to modify database objects and how to import data from other programs.
Click on the tutorial link below and you will be taken to the PowerPoint slides and to a written tutorial which you can follow step by step.
If you are interested in Access classes, there are several taught on campus. Visit the U Training Consortium database of classes offered on campus on many different topics. Search for: Access. You will get some irrelevant results along with relevant MS Access results, but searching for MS Access misses some of the classes. Some of them are free ? like those at Marriott Library.
If you are looking for assistance in setting up a database, you might want to contact the UUHSC Data Resource Center: http://uuhsc.utah.edu/drc/services.html
NOTE: This class is NOT taught in a classroom; it is an independent learning experience. See tutorials below listed under Handouts.
