Special Events

The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library presents a number of special events through out the year.

The Library and Information Technology Forum is held 8 times per year with the purpose of informing the University community about electronic information resources, and current trends in the use of computes and online technologies for access these resources. These one-hour programs are presented in the Health Sciences Education Building to a live audience; programs are also streamed for viewing at distant sites in real-time and are archived for viewing on demand.

InfoFair is an annual event with the goal of providing up-to-date information on computer services, applications and resources as well as a glimpse into the future of computing in the health sciences. Nationally renowned speakers are invited to present a keynote address, while workshops, posters and exhibits concentrate on current topics of interest to the University community.
